1. Application :
Carbon welding electrodes are used in:
welding steel and non-ferrous metals,
arched grooving and cutting,
removing old joints, finishing treatment of joints,
cleaning and repairing iron and non-ferrous metals castings;
cutting metals under water.
2.Size selection for round electrodes :
Width of groove: diameter of electrodes x 1,4/1,5 mm,
Depth of groove: diameter of electrodes x 0,7/0,8 mm,
Arc current: diameter of electrodes x (40-50) A.
